Safeguarding, Prevent Duties & British Values
We recognise that everyone who comes into contact with our learners and their families, carers and employers has a role to play in safeguarding and we aim to ensure that our learners and employers feel supported every step of the way.
It’s important to understand that Safeguarding applies not only to children, but also to adults and those adults in a vulnerable category.
An excerpt from The Care Act defines adult safeguarding as “Protecting an adult’s right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect”
